Welcome to Animal Jam!
I have been an active to semi active classic animal jam player since 2012! The site was an integral part to my furry childhood. Although I had never been too caught up in the fandom of Animal Jam (I didnt watch AJ Ambassadors or anything...) the game has been very very important to me for a long time! I have spent countless hours grinding on this game for some of the items I have. I am so proud to say as well that I still own my original animal jam account that I made when I was a child. Enjoy some of my avatars!
My interest in Animal Jam was of course part of an autistic obsession with animals. I believe I was introduced to the game by sidebar ads on GirlsGoGames.com! I began playing at once and immediately was hooked onto the game. My little self was so obsessed with the idea of being able to dress up and make friends while being a wolf. It was only a matter of time before I began BEGGING for memberships, (which my parents reluctantly bought half the time...).
I have countless stories of getting scammed, hacked by my own family members and friends, and boyfriends who were probably girls. But I will always have a special place in my heart for AJ regardless. I will always treasure the game that made education fun, that made a safer space for kids online. Nowadays I am quite saddened by the lack of spaces for kids on the internet.
Despite Animal Jam starting as a beautifully educational and fun game for kids to be playing, it has now become an economy based game with an evil trading system. All that being said, I still play and love it.
If I could have one wish for my life regarding animal jam, I'd wish to have all the headdresses so I could recycle and delete them fully from the game.
